Chefchaouen (Arabic: شفشاون, Spanish: Xauen or Chauen) is a city in northwest Morocco. It is the chief town of the province of the same name.

Chefchaouen is among Morocco's most beautiful towns, with its own distinct style, though close to the Andalucian, well-maintained houses all in white with usually blue doors along narrow streets climbing the mountainside. All around the town, fresh mountain water is provided by springs.

Don,

I really like this. The colors are good and the textures are very attractive for me as is the composition. My only criticism is that the poignée itself is a bit soft either from the chosen DOF or possibly camera shake. I suspect it is the DOF and closeness to the subject as the right side looks very sharp.

very nice blue color in this picture, and the bronze key hole adds a nice touch to the composition. Is the ring a little bit out of focus?

What stunning colours! Wonderful close-up view of the door and a nice composition You seem to be lacking a bit of sharpness though, which is a pity. I love the fact that there are 2 locks: an old one that has long since been left to seize up and disappear and the new one, crudely screwed into place... upside-down! Informative note.

although its lacking a bit of focus as they said, but i lovvve the texture on the blue background, amazing :)

I like this theme of yours! Beatiful shots! There's a bit of sharpness missing on the "poignée" but I specially love the contrast between this elderly door and the brand new door lock ;-) that replaces the old one which is disappearing under the blue paint (the key hole is still visible) !
