African colours I, a photo from Hardap, South

Photographer's Note

Close to the famous Dune 45 in Namibia, we arrived early in the morning and light and atmosphere were unique.
It's always difficult to say, but for me this was probably the best place I've ever been to !
(Taken during a 4-week Guerba Tour Trek through Zimbabwe, Botswana and Namibia - picture has been scanned and is unfortunately not of perfect quality).

Nice picture, especially for the desert colours. Is a pity about the dirt on the scanned picture. I've done a workshop to edit out some of the dirt and to adjust the colour levels slightly.

good photo, but noisy! Try to play with some noise reductor, and move the stains in a photo editor...

Great colours, Bernd, with a nice contrast between the sky and sand with the mountains in the background.

It's amazing to see vegetation there as you wouldn't think that a tree would be able to get a foothold.
