Photographer's Note
While in South Africa I've to take a Safari Game Drive in Hluhluwe Imfolosi Park. This is the oldest proclaimed reserve park and I was not disappointed with beautiful landscapes. IMHO this park is better than the Kruger National Park.
We were very lucky to see this Lion ( two brothers ) by chance sitting on the hilly spot looking for preys.
I'll add more WS. One lion is more than enough as we saw a lot lions in TE.

Hello Loong,
A great photo from such close range of the beautiful and impressive lion. Excellent clarity and sharpness, its fur is clearly seen with lots of details.

Hello Loong,
He was bending his head at a perfect angle to show you his profile. You must have been quite close, but he wouldn't be bothered. It seems they have no idea what's inside the cars. The shrubs provide a good environment. I like both WS photos too, especially the one just showing the scenery and no visible animals. It's a very nice composition with a fine light.
Best regards,
Gert

beautiful animals in Hluhluwe Imfolosi Park, well shown with beautiful colors, contrast and text. The king waits for his lionesses to go hunting.

Hello Loong,
It looks like you were right behind this lion. He could smell your presence.
I admit he dared to pose shamelessly.
Excellent clarity and sharpness!

Hello Loong,
The lion look really like a king of animals. Magnificent picture, you were qauite close. In Etosha, I saw the lions from a distance, but in Senegal I just walked with the couple, see here: https://www.trekearth.com/gallery/Africa/Senegal/West/Kaolack//photo1563061.htm
Nice Workshop photos as well.
Have a nice Sunday

Hi Loong
A good photo of the male lion and the workshops are good too (what he'd like for his dinner and his domain).

A great capture, Loong, majestic big animal shown with a superior profile as its head fully shown in size.
Very difficult to see this animal from so closer range, and some other's as you shown in the WS.
Have a nice sunday,
Ike

Hello Loong,
To see a lion up close in a zoo can have nothing like the experience of seeing it in the wild! I can imagine the heart pounding moment as you tried to stay perfectly still, whilst you took this!
Maybe the lion is listening to the sound of the jeep, as he turned his head to give you a fine profile. Pity you missed the feet .... but you are learning your trade of wild life photography, and to hold a camera still, compose a photograph and bow to his majesty at the one time, takes years of practice.
Love the w/s, too. Good job it was you who spotted the antelope and not the lion or it could have been a right royal dinner!
Have a good Sunday,
Bev 😊
