Photographer's Note

Howick falls is a waterfall in Howick, KwaZulu-Natal. It is situated on the Umgeni river and is approx 95m in height. The Zulu people call the falls KwaNogquza - "Place of the Tall One"
Many people have been swept over the falls with 40 deaths being recorded.
According to local legend the pool at the bottom of the falls is the residence of the Inkamyamba - a giant serpent-like creature. According to legend only Sangomas can safely approach the falls.

Beautiful landscape from wilderness of South-Africa. You have a good angle on that sunlit waterfall. Rusty brown cliffs look great against green surroundings.

a fabulous view of these falls. the light and the angle were perfect. interesting as there is a valley deeper at side of the falls, looks like a collage of two different landscapes.

Beautiful landscape scene you have captured here. Well composed and with a very vivid colour palette. Especially that dark gradient in the sky is a nice touch to avoid overexposure.
