Photographer's Note

While touring the winelands of South Africa, we where given a guided tour or the Aunra vineyard. On the tour we where told all about the journey of the grapes from vine to bottle. This image was taken in the storage before the barrels where drained into the bottles for sale. Inside this barrel is Red wine, Merlot if I remember correctly. I was drawn to the way the light fell on the barrel. Spot metered.

Wow Scott....I love this. It's simple and pure...nothing to distract or clutter the shot. Very nice use of available lighting.... Great job!
