Pyramids in Meroe 3, a photo from Nahr an Nil, North

Photographer's Note

The Royal Cemetery was the Royal Necropolis of kings of Meroe between 3rd c. BC to 3rd c. CE. Today these pyramids are easily accessible from Khartoum (120 miles, tarmac road) and quite often visited. This is the biggest, and imho the most attractive pyramid site in Sudan.
This is so called the Northern Cemetery area on the photograph.

Hi Marcin,

You're capturing well this place by a good angle and excellent tone/clarity, so it's interesting and impressive to see the desert with ups and down, and some pyramids on it. The whole is harmonized well by beautiful color combination and light control. And, the cloud at upper left draws out an additional good effect in this image.

Z calej twojej serii "Pyramids in Meroe" na TE, to zdjecie podoba mi sie najbardziej, mimo tego, ze kolory nie sa tu juz takie idealnie piekne. Super jest ten klasyczny pierwszy plan, sliczne wzorki na nietknietym piasku.
Ja pewnie bym troche przyciela po lewej, zeby pozbyc sie tej polowicznej piramidy, ale to subjektywna kwestia gustu.
Natomiast najbardziej z tych wszystkich twoich piramid, jakie widzialam, podoba mi sie jeszcze inne zdjecie na flikrze (btw, dzieki za link), ktore tu mam nadzieje wkrotce zamiescisz.
