love this! Your observation and timing here are exceptional. I love the pooling water and the simplicity is just irresistible and elegantly beautiful. A real cracker of an image that is both original and captivating. Stunning! One of your best!

Jolly well seen and jolly well taken too!

How wonderful that you spotted a simple opportunity like this - something which so many of us would have passed by - or even avoided including in our viewfinder!

This distant view, of course, is idyllic as are the colours in the sea contrasting so well with the soft colour of the beach, but the light on that T-shirt is divine and its colours do indeed mimick those of the ocean.

A delightful and innovative composition with lovely light and colours, perfect exposure and exquisite detail and sharpness.

Hello Rosemary,
spontaneous shot,but the end result we see is really magnificent!I like its funny and relaxing character(so the title you chose is more than apt here:)and describe perfectly the atmosphere of that moment.
For me one thing more makes your image so spectacular,namely th edark,dramatic sky.I gives superb contrast in the upper part of the image.

in addition to the color of the gown that blends in with the sea, the scene also gives space to the imagination, I have thought of a beautiful woman who attacked her clothes to a branch and went to take a bath, beautiful colors and light...

Hello Rosemary,
Your husband arranged this shot very well, even without thinking of it. The combination of the dark, naked branches, the threatening sky. turquoise water, light brown sand and that shirt swinging in the air is quite stunning. It's a bit like a surrealistic painting. A combination of things that don't belong together. Good compositions can always be found if you know how to look for them.

I have to say, well spotted!
Sometimes, such unanticipated shots are the best. They take you by surprise and you wonder why you hadn't really planned it!
A very well composed, incidental shot, using a good dof to keep the focal image sharp against a very useful b/g.

There are coincidences all around us, but it takes a great eye and great skill to turn them into a photo like this one, Rosemary. The shirt almost inverts the colors of the scene, which are dark descending to light, while also giving us a kind of perfect carefree summer statement. Beautiful light and focus as well, for this nifty little scene. Thanks!

There is a cool sense of movement in this, a great thing to be able to do in a static shot. Both the t shirt and the sea have a great fluidity to them, and the tshirt seems to mimic not only the movement, but also the colors of the sea. Nicely spotted!

hehehehe I thought that might have belonged to the son-stealing hussy of your previous photo ;) But yes, this shirt indeed has mimicked its surroundings like a chameleon. And it's created something almost like a flag. The powdery blue colours of the sea are amazing, the shirt adds interest, and the tree adds interest and texture. Thanks for sharing.

Hello Rosemary,isn`t it strange how sometimes an image just jumps out at you? The complementary colours work ever so well to provide a lovely shot.
I just wonder how the shirt stays on that flimsy little branch.

funny photo to start my day with here. and yes, the colors do seem to match don't they. Funny too, how he put it there probably not even being aware of how it would have made such a good photo opp just for you :)

Interesting idea, and this would seem the right sort of shot to do it with a bit softness in bg but still maintain a strong focal point in the foreground. Good use of the light here bring up the tones nicely. Congrats.
