Soft touches..., a photo from Nagano, Chubu

This picture is from Ootaki in Tateshina - Nagano prefecture. I went there with my friends over the week for a photo outing.
I always enjoy seeing something through camera that our eyes cannot see. Experiment with slow shutter speed created these silky flows finding its way down through hard, green rocks, creating a strange mix of soft touches to the bare nature.
This is supposed to be height of summer but the water was so cold here. Hopefully the attempt to take this shot from a low angle, from almost inside the water gave a shot worth the effort.

Used ND8 filter and cropping on origial picture.

Interesting effect of flowing water. Unfortunately trees around the water are also blurred probably because of wind. Have you tried to make a bit shorter exposure (like 1-2 seconds) as well ? How does it compare to this very long exposure ?

Hi Shailesh,

Interestingly smooth & soft texture like Milk!!! Nice POV too.
The trees are a bit out of focus though. Anyways, a beautiful capture.

Hola Shailesh , tienes una tecnica muy buena para este tipo de fotografias .Muy buena exposicion y manejo de luces y sombras. Buen trabajo.
