Hello Gunnar,
The presence of the couple on the edge of the rim gives a very good sense of scale as to the depth of the canyon and adds a human touch to this otherwise unforgiving landscape. Excellent light and colours and superb clarity. A fine composition.

very beautiful perspective, with those people on the edge of the rim, and the huge canyon in the background.
A sense of wide space.

Hej Gunnar!
What an amazing perspective!
About the Canyon...some ago I heard that when you go down, and climb again up and you feel the sweat, hear the vultures, and feel the sun burning your neck, then you can say, you saw Canyon.
How was it? did you go down?
Did you feel sweat?
Fantastic.
Greetings, Anna

Hello Gunnar,
Nice composition playing on the opposition between the foreground and the background to provide a deepness effect.
Moreover, your title is good regarding the position of the guy in red looking down. The 2 people are filling the space with life, providing the scale and a color anchor in the reading of the photo. Very well managed,
Yves.

Hello Gunnar! Great approach with the "tiny bit" of couple having a great time at the edge, not afraid to fall down :)))) which is nothing for me and I rather stand back and look from a distance away from where it goes down. I really like your idea to focus on the people making us aware how "little" we are compared to the environment around us and especially in this part of the world which belongs to my favorite landscapes. Great idea, I like it a lot. Best regards, Barbara.

Hallo Gunnar!
A really inventive picture of this gorge -a breathtaking vista.
This red "eyecatcher" is a beautiful addition here. The depth, caused by the foreground cliff, truly is amazing here. A not everyday photo (and the ws photo too) - and one of the best I saw of Grand Canyon so far.
Greetings from autumnal cool Siegen!

Hej Gunnar,
wasn't it dangerous to stand like that? People may fall down into the abyss!
I like the POV and the feeling of depth created in this photo. Very good juxtaposition of the BG and FG!
kind regards,
Elena

Hej Gunnar. Hoppas att nyår var till belåtenhet.
Checked your gallery to see what I've missed since my departure of TE and found this excellent shot. The view is amazing and what really sticks out is the man dressed in red which catches my attention. The surrounding canyon also gives the picture a nice depth and the colors are great. A good shot.

Bonjour Gunnar,
en regardant cette photo, on est impressionné par la grandeur du paysage. Pratiquement suelm le Grand Canyon peut donner ce spectacle où on se sent si petit.
un magnifique endroit bien mis en valeur.
Amicalement.

Hello Gunnar
The 2 people seem to be tempting fate. Perhaps they have climbed a fence to be so close to a great drop. Quite scary. They contrast well with the barren canyon walls. Tfs, Marlene
