Photographer's Note
This shot is a closer look to one of the species of Fritillaria, called inverted tulip ( in Persian means Laleh-ye-vazhegon). It is also known as " Ashk-e-Maryam" (Tear of Mary) ; because of the dropping dews that sounds like drops of tear. This plant is native to Iran and reached Austria in 1576.
It grows in some mountain slopes located in center and west of Iran , usually in second month of the spring and is seen in different colours such as yellow, orange and brown.

Salam Atousa,
Thanks very much for showing such very unique flower, It the first time I have seen and heard about the flower. It does looks like the tradivtional upward tulip. I like how they grow in such a nice cluster, make it more cheerful, and the deep ruby red is veyr beautiful, almost looks like lovely skirt or dress. Great techincal quality and nice composition.

Hi Atousa,
Good close up to the inverted tulips, clear to show the petals and leaves, the shape and lines on leaves and petals are similar, only the colors make it different, distinct photo, well done.

These flowers are really amazing! They deserved a closer view allowing to see nicely its details. The blurred inverted tulip balances well the image. Colours are very natural and pleasant to look at.
