The local ecological accident has happened in my town. Krasnokamsk takes a water in the Kama river. One industrial company has dumped dangerous toxic substances into the river. As a result, my town has not a clear water. As always pensioners and people with the low social status suffer first of all. They cannot buy pure water and stand in a queue till some hours for free water.

I shot this picture 2 hours before posting.

Money governs our life! Industrial companies indifferent to the dangers of toxic substances they produce.
We thank you for this post that is really useful for every citizen. The authorities are responsible for checking and taking precautions against any transgressor of the laws.

Jesus, this is really breaking news.
It double touched me: 1/ I grew up in a town getting the water from the river Tisza in Hungary, but some years ago because of an irresponsible industrial investment in region of its source cyanide and other dangerous chemicals appeared in the water. So I know what you are talking about. 2/ I am a hungarian, and as I know some of our ascendent ancient Hungarian (Oguric) tribes were coming from the fields around river Kama some thousand years ago.

Life itself! Poor wind is always a lot of eyes. This guilty of poisoning the water immediately should bear the costs of water supply to these people ... Most such companies are not going anything wrong. It is standard in this light. Then processes and investigations are ongoing for years. And life still goes on. People waiting for the fire engine with water in long queues. Why? Because they can not afford to buy clean water. A good reporter's job.

Olá Serghei, excellent reportage capture from your town showing how dramatic the care for clean water can be. Huge line under freezing conditions but I guess that you're used to it. Good perspective and colors, nice presentation. I'm glad that the owners of TE accepted this frame...

Excellent investigative report shot, well seen, framed and executed. Your message is very disturbing and unfortunately it happens so often, ecological accidents are more frequent then we think and know, because most of the time the government keep quiet. Well done
