Photographer's Note

Built in 1887 for the International Exhibition of the Philippine Islands, on the same year, the Crystal Palace is situated in the Parque del Buen Retiro de Madrid. Its structure is metal, and is fully covered by glass plates, hence its name. At his feet there is an artificial lake, with strange trees in the interior, cypress (Taxodium distichum), whose main characteristic is precisely that, that part of its trunk and its roots are under water.

Good idea to show the interior, we normally get to see it from outside, nice inside as well, graphical environment, but the little ixus had a bit of trouble with the highlights, especially at the bottom

La foto è ottimamente impostata ...compresa la copertura "fine secolo" che si vede tra i vetri e classica dell'epoca.
La foto-nota sono un valido documento storico artistico.

I think that the first crystal palace was built in London and it has been destroyed (the children had it in History textbook in connection to industrial revolution and new materials), your picture gives me the idea how it looked - fabulous. Is not it too hot inside?

Your picture is very attractive! I specially like the chosen pov, inside that beautiful building! Sharpness, exposure, colors, pp, contrasts, vertical format, black & white borders and symmetrical composition are all very good features here too!

Muy buena idea explotar el grafismo de este lugar y de jugar con las sombras. Es justo daño que la claridad no sea mejor para apreciar todos los detalles. Pero el punto de vista es excelente.

Magnifica perspectiva la de esta formidable estructura, has conseguido captar maravillosamente el azul del cielo atraves del cristal, el angulo que has captado me gusta mucho, preciosos colores y luminoso y bonito dia.
Tambien visite esta exposicion floral y capte algunas fotos, es otro de mis lugares predilectos.
Buena idea abrir un tema para el templo de Debod, ha quedado muy chulo con las diversas visiones de un monumento tan emblematico y magnifico.

Y pensar que yo estuve en este lugar no hace mucho tiempo y que no tuve la idea de levantar un poco mi camara fotografica...

Another glance for this monument than I knew (in photo) only from the outside.
The sky view frees the space which seems even larger when we compareit with the size of the walkers.

J'aime beaucoup le Palacio de cristal mais il n'est pas facile à photographier.
Tu as parfaitement réussi à rendre ce très bel effet de dentelle si fine.
