Captain Hook...again, a photo from Preveza, Epirus

During the daily cruise we had the opportunity to stop for one and half hour at Gaios port,the capital of Paxoi island.It is a very charmy port with a lot of luxurious sailing boats and motor boats cover all of the waterfront as you can see on the foreground of the photo.
Again 'Captain Hook' during its returning to Preveza passed in front of me during my relaxing time in a coffee shop.

Gaios

Gaios is the picturesque seaside capital of Paxos. The approximation is made by Gaios prey passing between two small islands. At first, the island of the Virgin, is a beautiful white monastery. In mid-August the monastery gates open and everyone to worship.

The second, Agios Nikolaos forms a natural breakwater which leads to the scenic entrance (old) port of Gaios. The island of Saint Nicholas are two small churches, St. Nicholas and St. John and an old castle which was built in 1423 and for a long time protected the island.

The square of Gaios is the ideal place to experience the atmosphere of the capital. You will find various restaurants around the picturesque streets and leading to tourist and other shops, cafes and restaurants even more. In the center of the square is the church of the Holy Apostles. The port of Gaios is very safe for any kind of docking ship. Easily seen vehicles supply (water and fuel) and going to the seaside.

θαυμάσιος ο τρόπος με τον οποίο συνδύασες τα στοιχεία του σκηνικού με το πέρασμα του εντυπωσιακού πλοίου. Μια πολύ όμορφη σκηνή διακοπών με υπέροχο φυσικό φόντο και τα αραγμένα σκάφη τόσο προσεκτικά τακτοποιημένα στο κάτω μέρος του κάδρου. Εξαιρετική η ευκρίνεια, απολαυστικό το φως και τα χρώματα. I'm not sure but I think Captain Hook's ship was bigger than this, but anything to attract tourist Las Vegas does the same thing. I fact the scene and the trees looks like the ones they had at the Treasure Island Casino. Good lighting and sharp details. Well done, tfs.

Hi Danos,
this must have been a great boat trip. There is so much sun and color here. Since several weeks summer in England is over we have 15 degrees and cloudy dull sky and it will stay so until the spring next year. So photos like yours here seem so nice to see -they bring something to dream about. Although it is also sometimes better not to see beautiful places so I am not reminded that they are out of reach for quite a long time now.
That is the real reason I get occasionally less active on TE :)

Your composition is nice here placing the ship slightly off center gives the shot direction. The lighting is nice and the photo has excellent sharpness. The boats in the foreground form a nice border for the scene.
