The first port during the daily cruise was at Loggos fishing village.Here you see a section of it as was vary charmy and pleasnat.The photo was taken from the moving cruise boat as was approached the port.

Loggos is a small fishing village on the east coast of Paxos just around the corner from Lakka. Tavernas and bars surround the harbour, a very pleasant place to sit and while away the hours. There are three mini-markets and a bakers shop which have a good selection of
produce, fresh fruit and vegetables are brought in from mainland Greece on a regular basis. Loggos is on the main bus route and is well serviced by the local friendly taxis service.
There are excellent tavernas in Loggos all of which are very popular with the locals and tourists, so it pays to reserve a table especially in the month of August to save disappointment. The bars serve both fresh fruit and alcoholic cocktails together with a wide selection of drinks and coffees.

Hello Danos,
This is a charming and pretty view of traditional houses with fine roofs. This place has not yet been spoiled by that kind of modernity where everything looks the same everywhere. This seems indeed like a nice place to spend some time. I like the fine colours and good clarity of this photo.

Kalimera Danos,
Waterfront sceneries always an attractive subject, and I find this small village beautifully decorated with many colors. From the red roof-tiles and the window shutters to the green slopes and a purple blossom within the small allies.

I like very much how balanced and elegant this composition looks as you have employed the elements that define the scenery, the colours and the perspectives in an excellent way. We get a great idea of this village and of its natural surroundings, depth and clarity are superb. Apart from that, even beyond the physical description, the picture is a delight to look at for its beautiful light, bright contrasting colours and excellent reflections.
The well-chosen tight crop eliminates all unwanted distractions.

I find it funny how in almost all of these photos of these small towns along the water, the restaurants are almost always EMPTY!
how come we never see people eating in these places!
is it because its too expensive? or maybe they're not open yet.

A charming fishing village, I think you have achieved what you set out to do certainly gives it some atmosphere, a place like this can imagine there are lots of photo opportunities here. Super composition, the colours just jump out at you, even in dull, wet weather, regimented with enough defiant little breaks to add character. And definitely depth! Good capture, Congrats.

As long as there are tavernas in fishing villages, I'm interested in visiting the place to 'take the real pulse of residents' who are inclined to say the truth about their ways of living without the awkwardness relieved by alcohol consumption!
Much local tales need to be known about such sympathetic communities!
