Cada vez que visito Valencia, y en ella la Ciudad de las Ciencias y de las Artes, encuentro una nueva vista. Esta vez, cruzando por uno de los puentes. El edificio que, desde el suelo, se ve imponente, aquí parece casi una maqueta. Esas son las perspectivas. Calatrava parece más escultor que arquitecto y, desde luego, es un gran escenógrafo. Esta pequeña ciudad lo demuestra. Me arriesgué con testa imagen por el contraste entre la luz al fondo y las sombras en primer plano, pero creo que esa diferencia equilibra la imagen.

Every time I visit Valencia, and the City of Sciences and Arts, I find a new perspective. This time, from one of the bridges. This building impose its big presence and dimensions for pedestrian, here it seems almost a model. Those are the prospects. Calatrava is a great architect, but sometimes it looks like a better sculptor. And always a great creator of scenes... his art has always a stunning scenographic character. This place is a good argument for that. I took a chance with this shot, by the contrast between the background lightned and shadows in the foreground, but I think this difference balances the image.

I love Calatrava's artwork! I already seen "The Eye" but from a completely different pov! Interesting light/shade making for a fine contrast.

yes, we've seen this place on TE a few times before, and as an architectural lover myself, i will never get tired of viewing it :)
This is the first time seeing the 2 round subjects which you have in the fg.
love the futuristic look, the new pov, and the play with light and shadow.
lovely seen, a new point of view for us.

Hola Ángel,
nos ofreces aquí un punto de vista diferente de los habituales, aunque en este impresionante conjunto de Calatrava es relativamente fácil encontrar múltiples ángulos para encuadrar.
Me gusta la imagen de estas dos bellas estructuras, bajo un espléndido juego de luces y sombras, con el magnífico grafismo que tienen estas formas y elementos arquitectónicos, cuya blancura se destaca sobre el cielo azul.
Los reflejos sobre el agua añaden un plus estético a una composición de por sí ya muy bonita.
Un bello trabajo, amigo mío.

du Calatrava, c'est toujours esthétique et photogénique. D'autant que les lumières étaient parfaites. Le POV qui inclut deux structures est bien pensé.
J'aime le mariage des couleurs.

Pues mira que he visto fotos de este complejo "Calatraveño" pero este POV de vista lo desconocia por completo. Muy bueno el contrate de sombras y luces, todo muy balanceado. Estupenda!
