What a spectacular interior photo of Giotto's Campanile, evocative of an MC Escher drawing. I have frequently wondered what it is like inside, now I know. I will open some space among my crowded favorites and import it there. I have also placed this beauty in the group theme, Domes, Spires and Minarets.

I have visited Florence many times (mostly related to two books I've written on Leonardo). The last time I visited, I also made a panoramic photo of the magnificent city by stitching three photos together, From Ponte Vecchio to Santa Croce. Take a look at the "large version" if you have time.

Very well caught perspective!
I'm not speaking about the rest: lighting, colours, textures – they are all great, nothign else to say.
But what impresses me most is the perspective.

Il Campanile di Giotto siamo abituati a vederlo solo da fuori, un plauso quindi alla tua iniziativa che ce ne propone l'interno con una inquadratura abbastanza interessante! Belli i fasci di luce che entrano dalle arcate.

Cette vue en plongée nous en met plein la vue. La profondeur est étonnante, et la lumière qui entre par les larges ouvertures crée des bandes de lumières. C'est superbe.
