Photographer's Note
It was fairly early and patches of low cloud were about as we drove west along the Yellowhead Hwy towards Mt Robson. The road runs right beside Moose Lake with plenty of good stopping spots.

Hello Ian
So you have returned from Canada. What a striking image reminding me of our trip to BC last year. Nice composition obeying the rule of thirds. The reflections are lovely with the slight ripple and the low clouds a real bonus. Cheers, Marlene

Simply gorgeous, Ian. The luscious slope of the mountain rising from a bed of soft clouds to meet the early light... the autumn treeline.. the placid lake reflecting the quintessential morning in the mountains. Perfect.
Regards,
Lisa

Hi Ian
I live here in the Vancouver region, but never heard of this Moose Lake before.
where exactly is it? near what city?
beautiful shot.
the clouds in the middle and in the bg too give a strange haunting feeling.
cool reflections top it all off.
Fine photo, I really like it
cheers
