Photographer's Note

I will be leaving for Nepal this afternoon. Not until I post this picture of an adorable little girl taking a bath in a canal in Kanchanburi.

This is actually a picture of life. She was full of it...the colours red and green evoke feelings of happiness...and the water splash reverberates the dynamic nature of LIFE.

I hope I would carry with me the same inspiration in Nepal. See you after a week.

Superb Manny. her closed eyes bring even a special aura of gentle delicacy to her face. Great lesson of expression photography, all the more so because it is created by you at a moment that will never happen again quite in the same way.

Beautiful colors, and I love the way the light shines on the girl's skin and the water! But I wish I could see it cropped a little less closely. The edge of the head just barely touching the left edge of the photo bothers me. I usually prefer to have photo elements either not touching the edge at all or being definitely cropped off--not just barely touching the edge. Still, a wonderful picture!

Fantastic splash you got here. To me the girl's head seems a little oversized for some reason, but the expression on her face as she's bathing herself is beautiful. The colors also work great, but the water splash is what makes this photo superb!

I have been looking through your photos for over a half hour now and each one is just as incredible or even better than the previous, so I have the dilemma of which picture to actually comment on. This is it. There is so much truth and quite a bit of sadness in your photos because of the places you have gone and the people you have come across, but this photo brings me pure joy! I love it! The bold green and vibrant red truly DO evoke happiness, and your point of view is wonderful.
