Visite d'une galerie de tapis, lors d'une journée d'excursion et d'un arrêt à Kairouan, où l'on en trouve pour tous les goûts et de toutes les couleurs. Il fait dire aussi de tous les prix.

Le tapis exclusif de la ville de Kairouan dont il a pris le nom, a été introduit selon la petite histoire par «Kamla», fille d’un gouverneur d’origine turque. Elle aurait mis deux ans à tisser le premier modèle s’inspirant des tapis de son père et en fit don au mausolée de la ville. Depuis, le tapis de Kairouan a essaimé dans toute la Tunisie.

Bonjour Emilius,

Et avec marchandage sans aucun doute. Beaucoup de choix de couleurs et de motifs. Ne manque qu'un tapis volant. J'aime bien celui avec l'oasis et les chameaux dans le coin gauche en bas.

Hi Emilius, the trip is not full without the visit to the markets and shops. Nice display of the small rugs. The one with camels is quite funny but I rather prefer the geometrical motifs. Good presentation, excellent sharpness and colours. Have returned home with a rug? Probably not. Warm regards

Oh I remember these carpets very well when i visited Tunisia! I remember one shop owner getting very mad at me because i spent time looking but in the end didn't but one :)
a fine cultural image, lots of color and a perfect fit for the country.

Je me souviens de ma petite visite à Kairouan ainsi que le tour obligé chez le vendeur de tapis. Un petit thé avec cela, viens dans le fond pour le plaisir des yeux, ils sont encore plus beaux. As-tu fais la visite chez le célèbre barbier?
