Photographer's Note
A pic that I took from the bus that took us from the center of Tunis to Carthage. I have seen many types of advertising on buildings in the world, but here they have rented an entire neighborhood. All that is needed to wash all kinds of things is advertised, I hope at least that the sponsorship will contribute to the maintenance of the buildings, which in any case do not seem to be in excellent condition. It seems that these buildings have been sponsored for a long time by this company, if you look at the map view you can see very well the same buildings with different advertisements of the same brand of detergents. Good wash to all!
Buon lavaggio a tutti!

Quite the ad campaign. The artist, if it is all painted, is very good. Perfect fits. You don't see this amount of ad effort much. Indeed it is all you need to wash !!

Hi Luciano
Amazing! That takes graffiti to a new commercial level. Looks like the building was a bit battered so maybe they accepted the advertising to cover up the grunge.
Well spotted and taken.
cheers

Bonsoir Luciano,
Une façon originale de faire de la publicité. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails des panneaux publicitaires. La lumière met en valeur les couleurs de l'image. Bonne soirée.

Ciao Luciano, I hate such big advertisements. Sometimes they cover the windows. here probably was just a wall. I can see that some inhabitants maybe use these detergents. They should have it free from Lilas.
Kind regards MAlgo

Excellently spotted Luciano, or rather excellently photographed as this some really large advertisements.
Bright colours in stark contrast to the slightly aged buildings.
I'm particularly impressed at the quality of the photo, despite being shot from the bus.
Thanks for sharing.

Bonjour, cher ami Luciano,

Hello Luciano,
Wow, those are really big and eye-catching advertisements, which really stand out. I would be surprised if anyone there still doesn't know this product. The contrast with the white apartment blocks is interesting.

Hello Luciano,
I would have preferred to see clever, original wall paintings rather than these giant advertisements, but these are also colourful and brighten the dull buildings. Seeing the map view the image of low standard buildings is underscored by the presence of the noisy highway just outside. It's a good and well timed snapshot from the bus, but I honestly doubt that the house owner will invest any of the money he gets in improving the quality of the apartments. The money is more likely to end up in his large villa by the sea.
Regards,
Gert

Ciao Luciano,
indeed the famous theme "washing day in..." which we know from Italy was taken here to a very different level!
What can I say: the size matters!!
The ads certainly bring in a lot of color.
Very well seen and captured!!

Hello Luciano,
Though it is not a real tourist attraction, these sites often tell more on the everyday life of the people living in a certain country. Nicely observed.

Hi Luciano
The rectangular shapes of the buildings resemble rectangular cardboard boxes of washing detergent especially with the borders of daisy flowers and liquid gel bottles. Well seen and good sharpness and color contrast with the drab fg buildings. Tfs!.

The idea to decorate those old facades with an advertisement, gave nice colors to the mostly grey walls, Luciano.
A picture made with good eye looking upwards from street level.
I assume you used a polarizing filter, that's why we see darker corner up left, vignetting phenomenon.
Ciao,
Ike

Ciao Luciano,
C'est incroyable de constater que des propriétaires de maisons aient accepté ces affiches criardes et surtout très laides. Le capitalisme dans ce qu'elle à de pire. Mais la photo est belle.

Hello Luciano,
There is a lot of blue in this photo and the advertisor wanted to be sure that al his products would be very well known by the visitors and inhabitants of this neighbourhood. Fine photo.

Hello, Luciano!
Too much advertisement on these buildings, but at least they have the same tones as the sky, which makes the view very interesting and attractive! In a cloudy day it must even give the idea of a better weather! Excellent light and sharpness to show that! Very nice job!

Hello Luciano,
This area will probably be called the 'Lilas district' of Tunis.
I've never seen anything like this before.
Very unusual. It actually shows the power of a large company to do what it wants in a whole neighbourhood.
A good photo to denounce the omnipotence of large companies.
Best regards, Paul

Luciano, the brand Lilas used these buildings facades to advertise soap and washing powder. The ads are pasted on the walls. It is original but not very aesthetic. Good city observation. Fine colors, good image quality and excellent light, regards.

Hello Luciano
A special way to disguise the ugliness of these apartment buildings.
It does bring some colour to the greyness of the architecture, but I prefer to see murals by independent creative young artists.
Excellent presentation
Have a good weekend, groet Rob

Hi Luciano
all I can say is wow!
I have never seen adds like this before, so large and SO many of them, and to be on apartment buildings, people's homes!
this is incredible- in an ugly way. What a way to totally ruin a cities appeal, I can't believe they allow this! but for us as photographers, its awesome! cheers

Ciao Caro Luciano,
For me, this has taken advertising to a gross extreme. The products seem to have a greater importance than the homes where people live. It must feel like living inside a plastic bottle, to the inhabitants.
You have raised a very important aspect of modern life and have clearly shown how giant commercial enterprises dominate in intimate aspects of people's lives.
Can you imagine one of the occupants explaining that they live in the washing-up liquid building, next door to the laundry liquid building!
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

it s a pity for me..

Hi Luciano.
Magnificent and very different photo than usual, because these ads are not usual either, in fact they are the largest I have seen anywhere of all I know and are quite a lot.
A magnificent range of colors, in some tones, very attractive.
Good management of brightness and sharpness, which enhance the details.
Very well done. I love.
Have a great day.
Very best regards.
