Photographer's Note

Victoria Falls Airport is very, very far from the town. Anyway it is very small but beautiful and brand new. There were many tourists there and the space was really small for everybody. Here we can see the plane that took me to Johannesburg and, in the background a curious plane of Zimbabwe Airlines. What called my attention was the painting of the jet was very rustic, almost like done by wall painters.

O Aeroporto de Victoria Falls fica localizado muito longe do centro da cidade. É um aeroporto bem pequeno, mas novinho. As instalações eram boas, mas havia turistas demais para pouco espaço. Aqui vemos o jato que me levou a Johannesburgo e ao fundo um jato da companhia local. Achei curiosa a pintura daquele avião, me pareceu rústica demais, como se houvesse sido feita por um pintor de paredes.

Very well narrated about the airport of Victoria Falls. Nicely shoot the aircraft under the blue sky background with white clouds. Well composition and good contrast.

Good capture of the two aircraft next to each other and caught in a fine sunlight here. The composition is very good. The queue is a nice inclusion too.

Hi Jorge,
Quite interesting shot from this remote airport, which probably receives lots of tourists anyway. Yes, the background is the more interesting one here. Old 737-200 of Air Zimbabwe slowly approaching it's 30th birthday. It's kind of symbol of the sad state of the country.

Very original and remoted apron Jorge, I'm happy to see back on Te. It's a kind of bush airport. Yes I tried also to take pictures before going to board and while walking on the tarmac. Sometimes zealous airport employees tried to stop me

Hi Jorge,

You have captured well the actiob of the passengers boarding the aircraft. The point of view is showing the details of the Boeing 737 of Air Zimbabwe and of the Airbus A319 of South african Airways. The light has a good effect on the colors. Have a nice day.
