Photographer's Note
The locals call Victoria Falls "Mosi-o-Tunya" (the smoke that thunders). It is the greatest curtain of falling water on earth and one of the seven natural wonders. The 1.7 km long, 108 m high basalt cliff transform the Zambesi river into a ferocious torrent whose noise can be heard 40 km away, and a mist rising to over 400 m can be seen 50 km away. A sight and sound to behold and never forget!
