Photographer's Note
I believe that there is a thin line that seperate us from bad or good. For eastern culture, women has a line that they were not supposed to get across. I like this picture as this is like a symbolism for eastern woman who now has move forward to walk across those lines. Taken from 8th floor of Al-Hamra shopping center in Sylhet. Hope you like it.

A nice concept with the nice lighting and color. In a perfect world the light source would be from the top right of the frame instead of the lower right to elongate the shadows at a 90 degree angle to the people....but you can't have everything....or you can maybe go there again to capture it if there is no building obstruction goofing you up.
Great Job.

Jan, I don't blame you for spinning a clever tale around the symbolic value (true or not) of this "line", but I'll tell you what: to me this is first and foremost a lovely shot, beautifully framed and composed with just the right mix of colors and geometry.
I have been accused of "ctrossing the line" more than once with my photographs, so your title certainly appealed to me...;o)

Hi Yann
A good idea and point in your title and not, the photo itself is great too... high POV, good framing, light and colors

Hi Yan
I love this one! the long shadows on the road are great and so are the contrasts of the colorful clothes and the black tarmac.
Nice pov and the crossing line bit is pretty clever.

Yan, this jumps from the thumbnail and begs to be opened. Its an original shot, beautifully framed and well composed, simple, minimalistic with a touch a spice.

Nice one Yan, those colours look great against the dirty and dusty road. Love the position you've taken this from.

Hi Yan,
a nice compo with the tree women crossing the road.Technically, your photo is great with this line of the road to cross horizontal your capture and the shodows of the women to spread on asphalt. The colours and the lighting are excellent.Well done.

Hi Yan,
Good graphism in this one and a story told in a different way,
from a different point of view.
Very clever crop that makes one not only see what's within the frame, but also - think about it.
Interesting colour of the road...
