Photographer's Note
This photo was taken in the oil town Seria. Oil has always played a major role in the economy of Brunei since the early 1900's. On a per capita basis, Brunei oil production/reserve is one of the highest in the world. The majority of the 350,000 inhabitants in Brunei are Muslims and mosques can be found in every part of the country.
I chose to include an oil pump and a mosque in this photo to signify the importance of oil and Islam in Brunei.
