Photographer's Note
I was blessed to be a professor at Chongqing University, and spent 6 months exploring this great city. (1997-1998)
The people were wonderful ... and so smart. For they knew and understood what a friend is and as they offered to dine with you, it was part of the meal's plan to measure you on the depth of your spirit on friendship. If you had these gifts - collective inclusion of friendliness, kindness, openness, a willingness to laugh at yourself ... if you reflect these great friendship values ... the meal interaction would show this, then all future judgments, business work, and future growth between you and them would be forever positive and in some cases totally blessed.
This is the Chinese business way (here in Chongqing) and later it had the same effect for me throughout China (2007-2011). But most strong here in Chongqing. Friends first (your reputation) then the image or implied rank of the company you work for next.
This city is a super major city (megalopolises) in Southwest China and one of the few national central cities in the People's Republic of China (PRC). This means that it is a city state (province) in one.
Chongqing is a very old city, founded more than 2300 hundred years ago. It I also known for it's hot spicy food style (Szechuan cuisine) The style has bold flavors, particularly the pungency and spiciness resulting from liberal use of garlic and chili peppers, as well as the unique flavor of the Sichuan pepper.
There is massive industry here and the air quality suffers greatly. Chongqing has a significant history and culture and serves as the economic center of the upstream Yangtze basin. It is from Chongqing that one would launch a river boat trek down the Yangtze river, one that winds through the beautiful three gorges region.
Chongqing is one of my most favorite cities in China.

Howdy David,
Interesting view, emphasizing the river with barge boats lined up, and curving into the distant misty metropolis.
And a bonus with your descriptive Chongqing friendship traits. Certainly a place worthy of visiting.
Warm regards,
Ray

Hi dear David
Great panfocus bird view, presenting so wide "China"!
Widefocus appraoch makes all in one shot via so clear and sharp presnetation at all. F.11 plays an important role.
Thanks a lot and have a good day! Takero

Hello David,
You're capturing well this great cty by a good composition and excellent tone/clarity, so it's interesting and impressive to see wide/winding Yangtze River, a lot of boats anchored to the river and cityscape with many appartments/buildongs which stands on the both banks of the river. It looks like that the time is passing slowly.
Kind regards,
mikio
