Strolling in Tang An village I photographed many everyday life scene, as you can see in my Tang An theme.

This one is about the butcher that is going to cut meat. Mind that the village is a mountain village, very cold, and meat lies .... in a natural fridge.

a strong image, quite brave...i think that showing the life as it is makes sense only when there is a goal, a purpose...and it is here, showing contextually life as it is...

Ah back to posting China pics I see, good news because in my opinion these China pics are the most inspired of your gallery and most of those I commented from you were such China pics. You succeeded here very well in framing this reality of China daily life, it might be atrocious from a hygienic point of view to westerners but that's just reality, the presence of the person a a definite plus and i appreciate your view did not get spoiled by the background light.

Hai composto e interpretato questa immagine talmente bene che l'animale in primo piano non assume i toni raccapriccianti che normalmente potrebbe avere: bravissima!

Ciao Livia,
That amazingly tidy butchering area makes one think that you could almnost do surgery here. It contrasts sharply with the look of what seems to be revulsion on the butcher's face. Your real slice of life photo teachies us much about a world far different from the onbe in which we live. SAG, Pat
