Photographer's Note

Taken at one of the many Lakes of Jiuzhaigou National Park. Circilize filter helps filtered out some of the glare allowing the reflection to show more clearly.

Jiuzhaigou National Park (simplified Chinese: 九寨沟; Valley of Nine Villages"; Tibetan: Zitsa Degu (gzi rtsa sde dgu)) is a nature reserve in the north of Sichuan, a province in south western China. It is known for its many multi-level waterfalls and colorful lakes, and was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1992. It belongs to the category V (Protected Landscape) in the IUCN system of protected area categorization.

Fall is the best time to visit, less rain, and colorful.

Where could be such colours and reflections if not in Jiuzhaigou :). Awesome view. I was there probably too early, I haven't seen such colours. Marvelous photo. stunning sharpness and wonderful composition with the wide reflections and lone twig.

The rendering of the mirror lake effect is very strong and I like it a lot. It is doubling the autumn colors.
At the opposite, I am wondering about the branches you kept in the frame. I feel they are not so welcome inside the composition (at least from my point of view).

A superb autumn colour palette here and clear reflections on this ripple-free water surface. Good compo too with dividing horizontal line well placed above the middle.
The branches of the FG give some depth to the scene.

Geat shot with viewer gets to concentrate the amazing vista and mirror reflections with depth to the image Lovely warm tones in super scene and I simply love the stillness and not even a ripple that stirs the surface of the calm water. such a peaceful scene.reflected here. The tree braches being important, it fits in both with position and colour. When you look at the picture it makes you want to go to contemplate natures beauty, bursting with autumnal colors. impossible not to comment favorably this masterpiece! It seems to admire a painting of the French impressionists of the '800. The photo is perfectly composed, respecting the rule of 2/3 and with an impressive photo quality. This image is a nice lesson of chromotherapy, a picture to be admired at any time of the day. are the beautiful colors, the mirror and
(of course) the beautiful light management.

Also beautiful are the composition (extra
importent for this kind of pictures) and the
beautiful break in this picture (the branch,

The reflection is perfect mirror-like. In fact the thin line of the bank breaks what would have otherwise been a seamless transition between reality & reflection. Taking the branch in the frame was a masterstroke. Superb!
