Mother and daughter together are shopping at the Antique Market in Beijing. The weather warmed up some but these smiles warmed us all the more as they enjoy their happy time and this special day together. The Chinese here are gearing up for the 2009 Chinese New Year's celibrations and families are out shopping for gifts. This market has been recently discovered by many locals and now serves as that unique place for a special New Year's gift. The Chinese gave up many things in past years and some now are restoring memories through purchasing similar long lost items now found in abundance here. These two seem to be having a great day!

Another wonderful photo of this family in the antique market. Just some great smiles and faces you have captured here. Really a great shot with the sunshine and shadows, too. Hope to see more photos from you from Beijing! Very nicely done.
