Photographer's Note
I took this pic of this little girl here
when she was laying on the junk bed
which was drop by the people living in the hutongs.
It was easy to see that she was with her mother com here
from outside Beijing.
she was so small, but lost in her thought,
seemed to dream for herself,
that my loud camera didnt noise her.
What was her dream?
I dont know.
look over this year i am in TE,
i also have so many dreams,
some have been come true,
some are still in weaving,
but so nice you have a dream.
it sound like Martin luther king's "i have a dream"...
Sorry for the quality of this shot,
i saved it as a small file before,
i am lazy to redo it.

Beautiful. There is real feeling in your shot again, Mingfang. Love the little girl in her dreamy pose and red dress. The pov couldn't be better, emphasizing her vulnerability and also her imagination. Keep weaving your dreams Mingfang :)

Hi Mingfang. Here you get away with your cropped heads because they aren't belonging to your main subject. This is an excellent photo, really well composed. Not sure about the low quality admission you made there; I wouldn't have commented on it but there is no room for laziness in photography, so never admit to it!!

Hi Mingfang

The depth of your talent should be obvious to everyone by now. You have more of a distinctive style than just about anyone else on TE and I eagerly look forward to your next posting. Here you bend the vertical frame to the exigencies of the scene...the prone and dreamy girl, the indifferent grownups behind, all in a clever tilt that, when intelligently used, can "pour" the action into the shot.
I'm just a huge fan, Mingfang, as you know...

I like this kind of portrait, the kind we can see in magazine. I like the framing, with the cut heads, and the colorful girl in the bottom. A really good shot!

Ciao Mingfang!
Another shot full of your soul!
Nice the way you explore the dreams in this little girl's eyes! Sometimes children stop their games and ...just dream, like this one. Nobody exists for her, the guys there don't exist, she is dreaming.
Happy for your year in TE!

Hi Mingfang
This is very good! Her attitude, the people behind - all makes a very good compo and you've conveyed your story well. She's really thinking sth serious ;)
And those newspaper and textures of the cushions add good details to the shot.
Happy birthday on TE!

Hi Mingfang,
I'm looking at your photos, and I like a lot this one. Lovely colors. I can see so well the dreams of that very nice chinese girl ! And I would like to help her so that they become reality ...
The picture is a little too small.
