this is a tree planted at the backyard of Koxinga's ( a
famous General in China's history who ended 38 years of Dutch rule on Taiwan) former residence in Taiwan, and it is over 300 YEARS old. I was fascinated by the colors of the leaves at the first glance from a far distance. the peak green which is absolutely eye catching under the sunshine that you almost breath the freshness of spring.

after walking around the building and looking at the tree a step closer, my eyes were caught by the dynamic of the tree, the light pink wall and the shades on it. it seems like the shades almost creeping on the wall like an infant in the breeze.

in general, I enjoy this harmonious combination of light shades and colours.
