I am continuing my description of the village Tang an. This is Tang an drum tower roof, all painted.
Drum towers were the open building where all village people met when happened something, for example something dangerous : someone played a drum and people gathered there.

Ciao Livia, mi piace davvero molto la prospettiva con la quale hai scattato questa foto: sembra quasi che la torre cada verso chi osserva! Non era facile rendere bene ogni dettaglio della facciata perché (pare) eri controsole. Ci sei riuscita regalandoci colori e forme inaspettate. Grazie per averla messa a disposizione!

A good upward angle on this drum tower roof, Livia, well showing the graphical appeal of the repetitive and converging architectural details. I like the strong perspective effect towards the top, and the variety of paintings shown on the different levels of the roof.
