looking at the fields, a photo from Guizhou, Central

Photographer's Note

While I was enjoying in photographing terraced fields from the top hill near Tang An, a lady carrying a baby came near.
First I thought that she were enjoying the view like me, but maybe better that she was looking for some relative working in the fields. What is a wonderful panorama for me, is the place of their hard work for local people.

It was a very cold day, but it was also one of the few sunny days I had during my China tour.

Really good shot, Livia, with several levels to view, moving down into the valley and up to the mountains on the other side. Very effective pov, and the colour of the clothes all confined to the top right is very eye catching. I like the rather static pose of someone who must have walked quite a way to this point (with her child as a load) and doesn't look like someone who has just come up for the view or to take a photo. Very good.

I like the way you captured so well this scenery with this scenery enquadrement view of the terraced fields from a high vantage point with a lovely foreground approach to the lady carrying a baby at the near right of the frame. Well composed - the postion of the women and her child leads us into to this beautiful landscape. Tang An was on my list for my next trip to China but unfortunately I dont have time so I appreciate your photo even more.
