Photographer's Note
Added a frame and a sepia tint. Taken in a black yak hair tent, light is from above through a gap in the center of the top of the tent to let smoke out. The gap is usually about 9 inches wide. Between them is a packed earth stove fed with dried yak chips (can be seen in the upper part of the top of the stove. Behind the stove the bags are full of animal feed, yak hair or other belongings. The "floor" still looks pretty good because this is a summer set-up where they'll move every 3 weeks to 1 month (in this area), so the grass is still pretty good under them.

Hello,
J'aime beaucoup ton image !
Elle retransmet bien l'ambiance qui peut régner à l'intérieur de cette tente !
L'aspect sépia vieilli encore plus l'image.
Un excellent travail ! Bravo.

Hi Cedar. Looks like a picture that should go in a book for documentary. Something like Nat Geographic? It is a very nice scene and you took good advantage of the oportunities (gap for light).

Beautiful shot, Cedar, a vivid depiction of a way of life. Nice tones, and a fine little wisp of smoke visible to add to the mood. I like how the family members are making warm eye contact with each other. I do find the frame and large-font title in it to be a bit heavy and distracting, but the overall effect comes through strongly. Regards, Ken.

Now, this is more what i'm expecting from you CedarBough.
A step back in the centuries, the tone would make it look like a ES.Curtis shot of native american indians under their teepee.
this is crammed with interesting details, the reader can enjoy sitting around the stove taking part of the scene. very nicely done.
I wouldn't bother seeing it in a larger format and also (sorry to say) with less intrusive frame and title font...

Hi Cedar. Very strong shot here, I am glad that you have gone to triX as opposed to other b&w film. This is great, with interesting expressions on everyone, and a really nice exposure. The only, tiny things is that I wish there was just a hair more room on the right, and less on the left to balance things; this is tiny but for some reason I noticed it. I could live with different toning too and I hate to say it, but the frame has to go. Good one.

Terrific shot, Cedar Bough - a scene from a movie yes, but first anf foremost a great photograh full of everyday drama and the honest steam of life as it is lived...

Amazing movement, and the interaction between the people, through their eyes, looks just great in a picture.
