This is a very interesting shot that works very well in black and white. The silhouette of the tree stands out nicely against the osun shrouded by the clouds. I would have preferred if the tree was not so central in the frame, but I am not sure how this would have affected your view of the sun. Anyway, pleasing and innovative image.

Hi Srini,
Excellent B&W composition, ofcourse post processing has a role to play here but that shouldn't take away any credit from you.
Best Wishes

Hi Dada,
This is a great shot because of the POV.The way you framed it through the trees is absolutely wonderful idea-dont think really the PP has done any major role here.

Hi RS,
Nice effort with this experiment and PP. I must say it is successful in presenting what is in your imagination and what you would like the scene to be. The atmosphere is strong and the choice of BW makes it very effective. Well done!! Regards and thanks.

Rs, another piece of art that you are presenting us here. You really should be nominated the Nokia Artist and your pictures should be used for Nokia advertisment as example what people can achieve with these cameras. But not only the digital quality is good, also the idea and execution.
Great!

What a great shot my friend. I like the way you've pp'd it, it works very well. The tree on the left is a little distracting and I like Wagner's WS which removes it thereby leaving the main subject slightly off centre but that's a personal thing. A superb capture Srinivasan. You are truly the king of the mobile phone camera, well done.

Hi RS,
Successful test. A very simple photograph which, by the treatment, has much impact and releases a very particular atmosphere. I like very much this black and white and the management of the lights, it is very pleasant to look at, the drawing of the tree is very pretty. Cheer.

Hi RS,
a very nice B/W experimental shot, with the sun behind the tree. You created, with the addition of fog, a very beautiful result,I would like if it made a little cropping and the tree were found more left.Well done.

Hello, Srini!
Very nice idea for an experiment! I like this dark silhouette of the tree with the shape of the Sun, hanging on the branches like a fruit. Very nice work!

Hi RS (it this the first name, isn't it?),
this is for sure a well accomplished experiment. The best hallmark is the way you have hidden the sun behind the branches, so getting the right "raw material" for the subsequent processing. Niced result, thanks for posting, Dario.

very beautiful dramatic effect created by the backlight branches, it's a pity it's a little too dark in the corners.

good contruction. The fog that you introduce give a sense of distance and a feeling of quiet, peaceA personnal impression, i wonder it will look like and feel with a less centered tree,
