Photographer's Note
These kids were playing cricket on a small heliport which is in Ayodhya hills. I was walking there when I saw these village kids enjoying their game. They were full of enthusiasm. The sun was sitting behind them & I was waiting for perfect shot when they are in full action (for that I have to take several shots). Though I know there is lack of light in this image but I want it to be as it is & didn’t make any pp work except cropping & framing.

Hi Srinivasan,
this is a very interesting photo. I really like the silhouettes and the grainy texture, which makes it almost seem as if it is printed on canvas.

Love the artistic qualities of this image, it looks so much like a painting. To anyone that wasn't aware of the game of cricket then this could easily look like some kind of odd cult activity, although I guess the game is so popular over there that it is almost like a religion.

Hello Srini,
i love this take. good that you posted it without PP, something i always go for.
IMO the lack of light has made a lot of good for this particular shot, and adds to the mystic effect and great sihlouettes.
Greetings,
Arnab

Hi, Srini. I like the action that is suggested here by the three kids aligned in a diagonal line on the left: one throwing, one ready to hit the ball and the last one preparing to catch. The setting sun gives a special atmosphere to the scene.

Bonjour, mon ami,
J'aime beaucoup cette composition, elle possède un charme important !
Le choix du noir et blanc est parfait pour restituer une forme presque irréelle.
Meilleurs voeux, mon ami.

Hello Srinivasan !
what a black and white shot !
a good dynamism with the pose of them you captured,a bit quality is injured, not major,...but a thing is interesting for me and that is "H" sign on the ground which seem be a helicopter band landing !
well worked, and Thanks for posting it,
and:
I wish You a happy New Year,
full of Love and Health and Peace...
Best To You

Hello Srinivasan,
beautiful dynamic picture. There is an interesting texture in the dark region of the picture, like some sort of textile or something. Beautiful how the 3 talest silhouettes are more in the action and the other 2, who look younger seem to be more passive. I like how the rest of the scene is just mist. What is the best is the H drawn on the ground which illustrate well that they are in the middle of the heliport...who cares about the helicopters, we are playing cricket!!
Have a nice day,
Marc

Hi
This is a truly great shot. You again show that taking great photos is not about the camera (wish someone good have told me before I bought mine:).
Great action with a really nice mood.

I'm totally floored. It's the first time that I'm looking through your pictures and I can't believe it that you did all this with a phone camera. Tell me that it's not true. Remarkable!!!
The grainy pattern of the B&W confers the right atmosphere and enhances the kids, on top of the big "H", captured in action.
Congratulations!

Hi Srinivasan, this is a very interesting picture here, good turn in BW, this was obviously the right shot. This gives a particular taste to this picture, cause grain is present and in color this would have been less effective. You got a great action picture, a full moment of sport, no need to shoot professionnal in action cause sometimes "young" people in sport of more photogenics.
I like it

Hi, Srininvasan,
Very difficult (and well-succeded) shot, the management of this low-light is hard to achieve. The outcome is lovely, with a superb composition.
Regards and congrats.

Hi Srinivasan,
You caught an excellent scene in dark while them playing on heliport. I like your photo with their silhouettes a lot. Reserving more space to sky is a brilliant idea that adds great value to your frame. Congratulations.
