This is gorgeous... Full of mystery, grace, with a surrealistic touch, like this hand that seems to throw birds in the sky. A masterpiece.

Hello Siddharta,
A picture named after one of the best books I've read this year is sure to grab my attention. I might have passed over the thumbnail without that title, but I certainly should not, because the picture is great in itself. Great silhouettes and lots of interesting details happening below. Great!

Bonjour,
J'aime beaucoup.

Hi Siddharta,
Creativity is there to present this bridge under unexpected conditions. Or was it the boy in shadow you wanted to use as a focal point, that a hand seems to aim for?
Whatever your artistic approach, I just like the final result. It's in part an architectural photo but the foreground somehow dominate the scene. The shadowy elements, including the leaves are captivating, because there's a full story going on, in part mysterious or at least, intriguing.
I shouldn't ask myyself too many questions and simply enjoy your image.
Namaste!
André

arey, eta tto miss kore gechhilam!
classic take. the foreground makes it special. a howrah bridge completes half a picture with its magnificent present, and leaves the rest to the imagination/ composition of the photographer.
well done!
ciao,

Interesting shot, Siddharta. Moody, with some great touches in black and white. Somehow the elements combine well to create an atmospheric whole. The photo first caught my attention b/c of the title - kafka is my favourite Murakami novel. I'm not sure if the photo captures the same mood of the book, but it's interesting in its own way.
