My first portrait with the new digicam for my friends in TE..This was taken yesterday when we all photographers from the Kolkata photograhy Club went to Maidan for a shooting spree..I saw her sitiing across the road with her husband under a tree enjoying the present generation living its life to the fullest..My friends were all zooming on this couple from across the road..and I hade my 18-55 so I ran across the road to catch her..seeing me coming towards her she broke into a smile which was still here when I took this shot....I guess I made her feel IMPORTANT....u can see that in this smile of hers...!!! open hearted and full of happiness.......this was a great gift for me..!!!!

I HAVE TAKEN OFF THE BLACK BACK GROUND AND HAVE CROPPED IT MORE TIGHTLY...WITH SOME ADDTION OF TONES....DO LET ME KNOW HOW U ALL LIKE IT..???

Definitely better than the earlier studio black BG...but the blue of the man's shirt bothers a bit. Perhaps you could try & reduce the tonality of the shirt IMHO. Well framed, well composed & superb deatils on her face

What a admirable image, I love it. Technically, not a top image but the spiritually, it a 10 for me. That smile, it make me smile too. the whole world just seem to open up with such a smile. Thanks. excellent shots in your gallery. very nice. A big smile in return. Thanks

Hello Indranil,

I really like the version without the black bg, the crop however in my opinoin was better with the original version but thats just my opinion.
