Photographer's Note

They belonged to some tribe hailing from Indian state of Jharkhand and were waiting for their turn to their special dance routine. I love the pair of intriguing eyes from behind the guy peeping outside window. The one looking outside has also seen my activities but decided to not look straight to me and give a 'natural' pose.

The shot was clicked during my trip to Surajkund Crafts fair early this year. It is an annual event held in the month of February. Artists and craftsmen from all over India as well as outside display their finest works here. Every day in this 15 day festival is special. If you like collecting exquisite crafts, you may spend days emptying your pocket. If you enjoy regional songs/dances, then there are many such performances going on simultaneously at various places. If you are a foodie, then you can taste delicacies from every corner of India. This event so rich in colors and buzzing with all sorts of activity, no need to say, is heaven for photographers. A must visit place!
