Photographer's Note

The part of India I live in is hot and humid. Every year I wait for the time, when I will be travelling to the mountains, the mighty Himalayas.
This year during the autumn month of October, we traveled to Himachal Pradesh in the north of India, the monsoon had just ended and we were expecting clear sky so that we may sight some of the high snow peaks. We drove to Bharmour situated in the North West part of the Chamba district, in Himachal, it is around 2500m above sea level. The sky was clear and we got a good sighting of Mt. Kailash from there. During night, it started raining heavily and I was worried, about our journey back the following day as the mountain roads may become a bit unpredictable with landslides.
The next morning when I woke up, the mountains smiled at me and I was overwhelmed to see snow on every mountain near and far, like a return gift :)
All my previous night worries vanished and I picked up the camera and went on clicking.
This photograph, is one from the many clicks I took.
Hope you all like it..
