Photographer's Note

India diary, photo #8
I know this picture is nothing special as photo...
just wanted to describe my impression on these stones.
All edges, borders and walls of Tabo monastery are covered with mani-stones, the stones on which buddhist
prayers are engraved. Some of them are real masterpieces. It is always worth of stopping to
take a closer look at them, to wonder how long they have been lying there.
I really like this spiritual tradition, in which people don't make money donations,
but make something with their hands putting their whole soul into this work of spiritual art.
