Meghalaya is a poor state, where the loads are usually carried in wooden carts, driven by "one donkey power" on the way up, and free of charge and green energy on the way down. The carts are seen on all roads in the state, and children also drive them. This picture was taken near a well, where the water is pumped out and taken home.
