Photographer's Note
This is the door handle of a Buddhist Monastery, Namdroling Monastery to be precise, made in a typical Tibetan style. It has its own timeless heritage and awesome painting all over the place. It’s also known as Golden Temple. Namdroling Monastery in Byalakuppe is a thriving community and home to thousands of lamas, monks and nuns, making it the largest Nyingmapa teaching center in the world. The Golden Temple is situated between Mysore and Madikere. The monastery houses approximately 3,000 monks and a shedra, or monastic college, with approximately 600 students. The buildings have been painted in faded shades of yellow and red. There are numerous shrine halls, including the new Golden Temple, which houses larger-than-life gold statues of the Buddha Sakyamuni, Guru Padmasambhava, and the Buddha of long life, Amitayus. The walls of the temple are covered in the most amazing frescoes.

Hi Archana.
Excellent colours & details. The contrast gold-red is also lovely.
