Photographer's Note
I was in Bangalore recently with my sister. We went to a monastery where my bro-in-law told we could have some good photos as it was Buddha poornima and right he was. Here little Buddhist monks pray during the celebration of the Buddha Poornima. You can some age old Buddha staues on the left which I think balances the colorful young monks. What do you think?
Canon Powershot A700.

OH WOW! Thats India for me, a Hindu dominated country but so much space for other religions as well. Is that some Indian script in red? Nice contrast.
Cheers

Hi Poulomi,
Very impressive shot. What a great combination of ancient Buddha and modern little Buddhist monks. See the expressions of all four monks in a row, they all are praying but simultaneously looking at camera.

Hello Poulomi,
Welcome back after a long time. One of your best in your gallery in terms of the composition. The little monks and the budhdhas are making a strong diagonal effect which makes this a nice photo.

Hello Poulomi
Is this from Bylakuppe? Seen a lot of pictures of Sandip from there. This is a fantastic compo. with the similarity & contrast between the rows of the novices & the picture of the Buddha statues. Well conceived picture & well taken

hi Poulomi
I am wondering, all the Indian names ending with 'i' seems to be girl names, right? And sometimes 'a' too?
I think this is a fine symmetry of repeated figures, live or dead ones :)
Very good composition showing the colorful ones alongside with the stone ones.
Great work.
