Photographer's Note

I was visiting the sea-side Danish fort (Built during the 15th century AD) at Tranquebar, Tamil Nadu. This place has the reputation of having the first ever printing press in the whole of the Indian sub-continent. The press was brought by the Protestant Missionary, Bartholomaeus Ziegenbalg. Next to fort is the Chola period "Masilamani natha" temple (built in 14th century AD)which is now broken down by the advancing sea front.

I was framing the ruins when i saw a boy from the the nearby fishermen cove colllecting shell fish on the coast. He saw one on the sand and he also noticed the advancing wave that might wash away the shell fish back to the sea. So he began sprinting. That, coincided with my pulling the trigger of my cam.
