Photographer's Note
I promised Angshuman I would post more photos of the caves, so here's another one of Ellora:)!
Situated several kms far from Aurangabad, Ellora Caves are a World Heritage Site and an impressive place to visit. It's formed by 34 cave temples, excavated on the rocks, between the 5th and the 10th centuries. This group includes Buddhist, Jain and Hindu temples, which proves that the three religions lived side by side and in perfect harmony by that time. The most famous and impressive is probably cave number 16.
I'm not sure about the number of this one.

Hi Ana,
That's a dramatic looking place, I have really enjoyed your posts of these caves so am also delighted to see this newest one. The golden light shining on the statue at the foreground gives great warmth which contrasts very nicely against the darker and almost eerie looking area behind. You achieved beautiful light management.
Best wishes

Hi Ola dear Ana
Wow you were there, where I was 30 years ago.
Nice and low angle image via greatly mysterious light touch.
All the best! Takero from snowy Tokyo

Bonjour Ana,
Du très beau travail de photographie dans cet endroit qui semble bien difficile au niveau technique.L'illumination sur le pilier en vedette est superbe tandis que le reste est dans l'ombre.
Amicalement

Ana,
A nice low shot! The background is a little "invisible", but the overall impression is wonderful!

Ola Ana,
Superbly used the darkness inside the cave and distinct well the statue under mmild light.
fairly good view upon, I assume you had not much space to choose POV's inside the cave.
Enjoy your weekend,
Ike

Hi Ana,
The naked statue has a resemblance to Buddha. Good sharpness and the Ellora caves sure look like an interesting place to visit. I like the subtle warm cold color contrast between the yellow tones of the statue and the grey blue surrounds. The dark shadowed recesses at the back add mood and mystery. Tfs!

Ola Ana
Thank you for hearing me out & post this wonderful picture...
The low POV (you seem to have kept the camera on the floor) makes this wonderful a picture..The light falling on the statue of Buddha has been beautifully captured. I do not recall this cave, because many of them have such statues.
Fine work!
Best Regards
Angshu

depois de ver suas fotos destas grutas fiquei com vontade de colocá-las no meu roteiro, o problema é arrumar tempo para isso, fico com dó de deixar de fora outros lugares...
linda foto, gosto muito deste tipo de entalhe.
