Photographer's Note
These trucks are a part of lifeline of remote villages in India. It is amazing how much life depends on these vehicles to provide, food & supplies in the far flung areas.
The vehicles itself are marvelous & omni-present. They can be found everywhere in India, whether it be the high-speed highways in the plains, or extreme heights up in the Himalayas. Thus the ground clearance of these vehicles are always kept quite high to enable them to cover every kind of roads.
We found very little of them on our way to Batal in Himachal Pradesh, from Rohtang pass. I guess the bad road conditions deters them to take this route, and instead primary supplies come in from the Kinnaur side to Spiti.
Adjusted the auto-levels of this photograph, added frame and signature.

Harsh,
good picture, lovely place to be.
I have seen these Tata trucks everywhere in India and Nepal.
What I think is amazing is the drivers ability to repair them by the roadside with so few tools or spares.
All the best

Hello Harsh!
Great perspective (and thanks for highlighting the importance of those burdened lorries)..
I thought the photo was a bit too, well, harsh (pardon the pun). Perhaps you overdid the levels by using the auto feature? I posted a minor workshop, tell me how it looks...
