Fishing scene photographed on the Ganges near Varanasi.
Despite the massive pollution, there are fish in the Ganges (a bit ...) and there are even a variety of freshwater dolphin called Gangetic dolphin.

Scène de pêche sur le Gange photographiée non loin de Varanasi (Bénarès).
Contrairement à ce qu'on pourrait croire, malgré l'énorme pollution, le Gange est poissonneux ( un peu...) et on y trouve même une variété de dauphin d'eau douce appelée dauphin du Gange.

A wonderful calming scene of these fishermen catching fish - with the dusty background of Varanasi behind. The horizontal composition and the long focal length are very appropriate for this shot.

L'ambiance est belle, avec ces couleurs douces, mais ce qui est incroyable c'est que je me suis crue un moment en Afrique! Avec les oiseaux, le moment semble hors du temps... Une belle scène de vie paisible.

Hello Patrice,

Très sympa cette scène de vie. J'aime beaucoup les couleurs très soft et l'ambiance qui semble presque matinale. Le cadrage est bien vu et le format de l'image t'a permis d'ajuster la composition.

It looks charming and calm despite the heavy pollution! lovely view especially the flock of birds lining the sandbar quite natural look. the hazy/foggy in the bground effectively isolate this fisherman. fine lighting and color control and good tight framming, Nice captgure, Congrats. TFS
