Photographer's Note
We were stuck in the jam at Sonamarg on the way to Kargil. It was clear that it will take not less than two hour to clear the traffic so we entered a tented tea shop. There I found this guy sitting with his family. His voice was stereophonic and he looked so intense. Leaving the tea behind I ran for my camera and here is the result.

A wonderful portrait shot here of this very regal-looking gentleman. You did very well to run back and get your camera...as I think this is one of those outstanding faces you sometimes come across here on TrekEarth. Thank you for sharing and for capturing this great face. His clothing and find beard also add to the scene...do you have a color rendition of this?
Very nicely done by you.

Hello Vinod,
I like very much this portrait and the brief but interesting story that accompanies it. The information provided by picture and note are just enough for the viewer to establish a contact with the subject and start to complete the scene and the story themselves. I like how the gentleman is tucked in the tight frame and in his garments. The soft grey tones set a mild atmosphere and everything makes the glance have a captivating effect. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a lovely day,
Ourania

Hello Vinod!
B&W was the only choice, and this is first-class photography. A portrait full of dignity, well seen, and well done!
