Photographer's Note

This full of years golden oldie was seen on the back street of Jodhpur despite obviously struggling at some points, but appeared to be very resolute in getting to where she was going. But do you know how long will the painful journey take to get to the end of the line?

Just a simple reflection of the universal struggle of human beings that emphasizes on a small dramatic situation, the sheer determination and about emotive study of human condition everywhere on the planet.
But I think a lot of the time we cannot truly know what people in pictures are feeling, although there are exceptions.

Hello Abmdsudi,
a very fine shot that you have achieved by allowing the hunched figure of the lady so much space to move into,her predominantly red coloured clothes add drama whilst her outstretched arm and walking stick complete an emotive scene.

On my age is determination absolutely one must, I am self middle of the seventy and know perfect the walking of the lady feeling.
Notwithstanding very difficult for to photographing

Good composition, color given by the woman and textures by the bricks
Certainly the woman would go slowly, but alone and that matters, she can stop to rest without giving explanations or continue in a slow way , just better that in a wheel chair or with some assistance person, she is free!

When the spirit is willing and with plenty of determination even an old person like me can achieve wonderful things. Okay, I'm a young 72 but there's an older man that goes dancing in the place where I dance that has more energy than I do. But as they say age is just number, I don't know how old this lady is but from the way she is looking she will make it to where she is going. Great composition! I like the placement of the subject on the frame. Wonderful colors. Well done, tfs.

Interesting and creative take on this universal subject.
I like the way you captured this lady - partly as silhouette, partly as a splash of colour. Clever composition, placing her in the corner, rather than following the rule of thirds, as this leaves her the space to walk into, even if it will take a lot of time.
