Photographer's Note
Took my camera with me on a 'Sunday stroll'. The local kids were fascinated. This is the result.

A good shot - great faces and some engaging expressions - well done.
I'd have cropped it across the 'biggest' boy's forehead and just below the lowest boy's chin to get even more of a focus - it's the faces in the middle 3rd of the shot that make it and this would make even more of an impact (sorry, boy on the top, but you're out of focus and not needed). I think the crop would give the image a nice 'looking in' feel too, to match the kids' expressions.
Good work mate.

Hi, Steven
Ok, a bit lacking in sharpness and framed dangerously close for the compo, but this shot is amusing as all try to be in it, no surprise there, but even those too young to have any idea, must be in too, like the little toddler.

haha, a very funny shot, everybody wants to get in.....
the "hard" framing serves the feeling of crowdiness well.
DOF (and sharpness) could have been better.
Friendly,
J.

I really like this capture. As is, in difference to Rik. The boy in back helps round out the feel of such scenes, as does the one eye left. This draws you into the center. So, as haphazard as these group kid shots go, this works.
Check out Sohrab, he's quite good and getting better every day, and in your neighborhood. Sort of. BTW, I have several shots posted from the Kumbh Mela in Allahabd 2001 you might be interested in. Another minor Mela happens in 2007, I think. Get there if you can.
Best, Bennett

Hi Steven,
I love this photo, it really symbolizes India for me - crowded and happy, though poor.
The composition is great, the fact that it's so close to the kids make the photo very strong - you're not standing from afar, you are with them. Great shot!

Hello Steven, I like this full photo of joy, a likeable snapshot with the glad children and contentments, except the small one that are thinking it.
Congratulations and a greeting..........Paco
